CTK Foundation Grant Award: Social Media, Technology, and Poetry for the Soul

The CTK Foundation is using social media to publicize its Heart and Soul Grant Awards. The grant, which will fund a nonprofit's efforts to support their mission with technology, also requires a four to eight line original poem as part of the submission. Interestingly, this also offers an opportunity for nonprofits to crowdsource from stakeholders feedback on how well an organization reflects its core mission. Applications are open March 1 through 28, 2011.

All told, Lily the Bear's fans have helped to raise $159,597 from 23,502 fans just this year. In terms of social network fundraising, that's huge. The real question is why.
